Christchurch Earthquake Update

Update as at 1600hrs 25th Feb 2011

We are fully operational but are operating with reduced staff levels until Monday 28th Feb as Chch team members sort out personal circumstances.

Media

  • We are fully operational, but due to various circumstances including Civil Emergency restrictions to some areas, are not able to follow normal rotational schedules. We have been unable to contact some clients so if you require service, please request as per normal on tapevaultchc@onlinesecurity.co.nz
  • The areas that are restricted for pickup and deliveries are as per the attached map.
  • We have can now resume delivery and receipt of critical media on a limited same day service out of Christchurch and continue to offer our overnight service via our sister company's dedicated freight aircraft.

Records Management

  • Our Records warehouse appears to be unaffected by the earthquake but we are having racking engineers inspect the racking on Monday.
  • One satellite warehouse that was used to hold some records while we rebuilt from the September earthquake, is currently inaccessible and services will be restricted for these records until we gain access.
  • If your request is urgent please use the normal booking method and mark accordingly, or alternatively ring on 03 338 8668.

Destruction

  • Normal services will resume on Monday, however if you have an urgent need to have a bin removed/exchanged because of non-secure premises please call on 03 338 8668.
