Your PIN Responsibiltes
Your responsibility is to keep your requestor number and PIN secure. Do not store your Requestor ID and PIN on your PC. This will protect you against people gaining access to your records even if they gain access to your PC. The most likely way for someone to gain unauthorised access to your information is by guessing or obtaining your Requestor ID and PIN.
To protect against people doing this we recommend you:
- Do not write down, or record your PIN.
- Do not tell anyone your PIN.
- Do not leave your PC unattended when you are logged in.
[Note: Online-DIRECT and Data-DIRECT will log you out after a time-out period - this is a security feature.]
